What we learned at INBOUND 2023.
And how it could supercharge your business.
Our key takeouts from the 11th HubSpot INBOUND conference
On 5-8th September, the HubSpot community gathered in Boston, Massachusetts for the INBOUND 23 conference. Now in its eleventh year, INBOUND is the flagship HubSpot conference that brings together business, marketing, and sales leaders to network, learn and hear all about the latest Hubspot developments that will supercharge your marketing, sales, customer service, CMS, operations, and commerce capabilities.
This year, HubSpot brought an all-star lineup of industry-spanning icons, marketing and sales leaders, wellness experts, and acclaimed authors to INBOUND’s biggest stage.
In their words, “From our global community of attendees and partners to our inspiring speakers, INBOUND is centred around the idea that human connection drives transformative growth, meaningful conversations, and actionable insights,” said Kat Tooley, VP of Global Events and Experiential Marketing at HubSpot.
Whilst the conference format is definitely leaning back into being an in-person event, thankfully, HubSpot was live-streaming the keynotes and some other big talks.
What are the key takeaways that we think will make a difference to our clients' businesses?
After a three-year hiatus, INBOUND saw a return of the HubSpot Partner-only event. This is where Solution, App and Service partners gather to hear about all things HubSpot Ecosystem. A lot of the day is centred around confidential (for now) updates on the HubSpot product and its roadmap but we can still talk about the prevailing themes and what it means for HubSpot customers.
The big picture
Last year, Hubspot introduced the concept of being referred to as a CRM Platform. Nothing too tricky with that one. As they have continued to develop new products and services, this year, this evolution took a step further. They presented a new framework that evolves from being known as a CRM Platform and into what they’re calling a Customer Platform that consists of HubSpot Smart CRM, connected engagement hubs, and a connected ecosystem that enables better customer connection. Well, with a name like Everything Connected and our mission to connect our client’s customers, channels and audiences in an increasingly complex digital world . . . we are in! You had us at ‘connected’.
